I have been in the real estate business for over 14 years now, consistently earning at least $300K/year in personal sales.
Before entering the real estate industry, I used to work at ArcelorMittal, a multinational company for 9 years. managing a sales team on my own. It was also during this time that I developed an interest in real estate and bought my first condominium at the age of 24.
In 2008, I left my job to pursue a Masters in Real Estate at the National University of Singapore and start my own real estate business. I enjoy helping investment firms acquire industrial and commercial properties, as well as assisting start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses, and young families in Singapore to achieve their goals using real estate assets.
Since then, I have become a multi-platinum agent and a recipient of numerous awards from both OrangeTee & Tie and PropNex, including the PropNex Millionaire Award in 2021.
Today, I lead a division of 50 full-time agents – 40% of whom are women.
As a leader, I’d like to think of myself as a venture capitalist, and my sales executives as start-ups, and I’m investing time to mentor them and help plan their path to success. Drawing inspiration and energy from my younger teammates, I usually push myself to think beyond conventional boundaries and experiment with different marketing techniques & opportunities with my own funds. Once I find a successful strategy, I share it with my team to help them grow their real estate businesses.
Additionally, I’m an investor, owning multiple properties and a shareholder in a Singapore-based property tech company called Big Tiny, which manufactures prefabricated mobile homes and integrates them with eco-tourism across 6 different countries.
